Mary Wicker, LPC, has over 20 years of experience helping individuals find healing and purpose through compassionate, evidence-based therapy. She helps adolescents, adults, seniors, and couples navigate a wide range of mental health challenges. Mary sees therapy as a space where growth can unfold safely and meaningfully. She has deep experience helping clients manage bipolar disorder, ADHD, addiction recovery, and the emotional impact of medical conditions. Mary also serves students and employees including internationals struggling with anxiety and isolation. Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Mary uses a strength-focused approach including skills coaching and tools to support growth and change. Mary is especially passionate about Adult Children of Alcoholics and individuals who struggle with early attachment issues and other forms of trauma. These issues often leave people feeling disconnected from themselves and their relationships. Mary works with clients to process painful experiences, reduce shame, and build emotional resilience. She also has specialized experience working with women’s issues, including those related to trauma recovery, parenting, hormonal issues, and other midlife changes. Her work with couples focuses on strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and fostering deeper emotional connection. Mary also serves individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, offering thoughtful and inclusive care. She offers additional support in areas such as parenting skills and family systems work to meet a wide range of needs. Mary has a deep interest in natural health, social justice, and vocational success, and offers coaching to individuals in the area of self-advocacy. She integrates faith-based and Christian counseling when requested. Outside of her work at Wellspring, Mary finds joy in spending time with family and her dog Ellie.
