Amy Bolkcom

Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Western Michigan University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornerstone University.

Amy has experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, faith concerns, and life adjustments. She typically approaches counseling from a cognitive-behavioral and narrative framework but will utilize different modalities to help clients reach their goals. Amy offers counseling from a Christian perspective if desired by the client. In addition to private practice, she has served as a counselor in higher education, and especially enjoys working with young adults who are experiencing new opportunities and challenges. 

Amy enjoys working with her husband in ministry. She also spends much of her free time chasing after her two young boys. She enjoys hiking, shopping, reading, and finding all the good ice cream shops.
